I'm Adelyn Wimmer
A professional violinist and musician who uses imagination in their music to delve the audience into a world within their minds. You'll connect with all of your senses, your empathy, and have a personal safe world to escape to through concert and teaching experiences.
I believe it is important for any musician, especially for strings, to have skills in more than one style of music. This will allow for multiple new opportunities, make them multifaceted, and allow them to continue their love for music by having more than one option. This also gives them more outlets for creativity.
Biography
I'm originally from a suburb of Chicago and lived there for the vast majority of my life. There, I was heavily involved in music ventures; like a youth symphony for all four years of high school, a music academy within my high school, took private lessons, and went to ISYM (music summer camp where I focused on string quartet experience) at the University of Illinois for 3 summers. I moved to Colorado in 2021. After learning more about music business, arts entrepreneurship, and other important skills a professional musician needs, I focused my studies on a BM in Violin Performance and Music Business.

After I graduate, I plan on auditioning for orchestras around Colorado, teach and create my own violin studio, and design and facilitate new arts ventures that will combine music with other art forms. In a world that can be chaotic and feel uncertain, the arts can allow for anyone to understand their feelings and be part of a beautiful community that's part of a world of wonder and uniqueness.
